Cara began her career as a massage therapist in 2005, after graduating from The White River School of Massage in the Ozark mountains. Her work is deep and intuitive. As a certified folk herbalist from The Chestnut School of Herbalism, she creates her own herbal massage mediums to facilitate deep healing beginning with the skin. Cara provides a warm and comfortable space to receive massage in her private studio. She is certified through the International Cupping Association and insured through ABMP. Cara enjoys blending the dynamic Mayan style of cupping with her herbal oil massage for a thoroughly restorative experience.
Out of her desire to help people find joy and healing through travel, Cara offers holistic travel advising to create authentic itineraries for you, or coach you on how to empower yourself to find deeper meaning through travel. Her travel focus is seen through a sustainable lens and includes boutique hotels, sustainable dwellings, off-beat destinations, alcohol-free travel, soft adventure, holistic retreats, thermal water destinations, and therapeutic services. Cara is a certified Fora Travel Advisor and is also certified through Wellness Travel University. She holds professional memberships through Transformational Travel Council, Adventure Travel Trade Association, Tourism Cares, American Society of Travel Advisors, & Wanderful.
Cara holds a Permaculture Design Certificate through the Kansas Permaculture Institute, and a certificate through Momdoulary LLC in NYC for natural end-of-life care. Cara believes in a holistic approach to all stages of life. We are ever evolving, shedding our skins through rebirth and renewal.
