Atlanta Conference

At the end of June I will have the pleasure of traveling to Atlanta to attend the annual Funeral Consumers Alliance conference. There, I will be taking some hands on workshops to further my study in the field of Alternative Death Care and hopefully get to personally meet some of the leading voices in the industry, such as Katrina Spade, who founded the Urban Death Project based in Seattle. This conference comes at the perfect time, as I am just beginning my new career as a death midwife. I look forward to reporting back to you and sharing some photos of the beautiful Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta's premier Victorian cemetery, which attendees get a personal tour of.
